As of 31 December 2014, the Philippine Contractors Accreditation Board (PCAB) issued a total of 6,614 contractors’ licenses. Of the total, large-sized (AAA & AA) accounted for 6% of the total contracting population. This is followed by medium-sized (A & B) contractors with 34% share, while the remaining (C, D, Trade/E) 60% remained to be the majority of the licensed contractors.

As of 24 July 2017, the Philippine Contractors Accreditation Board (PCAB) issued a total of 9,670 contractors’ licenses for the CFY 2016-2017, 80.8 percent of which were renewing contractors and 9.2 percent were new entrants.

In terms of size, large contractors (AAAA, AAA & AA) accounted for 5.3 percent of the total contracting population. Medium-sized contractors (A & B) comprised 32.1 percent while small contractors (C, D, Trade/E) still remained the majority of licensed contractors at 62.6 percent.

As of 24 March 2017, the Philippine Contractors Accreditation Board (PCAB) issued a total of 9,044 contractors’ licenses for CFY 2016-2017, 84.8% of which were renewing contractors and 15.2% were new entrants.

In terms of size, large contractors (AAAA, AAA & AA) accounted for 5.4 percent of the total contracting population. Medium-sized contractors (A & B) comprised 33.1 percent while small contractors (C, D, Trade/E) still remained the majority of licensed contractors at 61.5 percent.
